Setting up your Dial Up Account

Note: These instructions are intended as a guide only. The actual procedure and the options you are presented with will vary depending not only on your operating system, Windows98 / Me / XP, Mac etc, but also on which version of the system you have installed on your computer.
This example is based on Windows Me 4.90.3000

If you would like a text only copy of the dial-up configuration for reference or so you can set up your computer off-line later on, please send a blank e-mail to dialup.setup@jensys.net

Existing clients please note:

The old 0845 0502502 number is being phased out and should not be used. If you are using this number please change it to 0845 0590014

Changing the default dial up connection

--

When you try to connect to the internet you will be asked for a username and password.

We would have asked you what you wanted these to be before we set up the account for you however as added security, the dial-up username needs to be suffixed with "@jensys.net".

e.g.

If your username is 'joebloggs" you will need to enter "joebloggs@jensys.net" in the dial-up connection username box.

Please note:

your-username@jensys.net is NOT an e-mail address, it is purely for dial-up purposes. Any mail sent to that address will not be delivered.
